Chrome will display various information, including the Flash Player version installed, and Flash Player installed path. To determine which PPAPI plugin Chrome is using, launch Chrome and navigate to chrome:/flash. The embedded version does not display in the System Preferences > Flash Player Settings Manager > Updates tab, as it's a component of Chrome and not a separate, manually installed plugin.Ĭhrome will also use the most recent version, regardless if it's the embedded or non-embedded version.
